Toi Matarua is proud to announce we will be delivering our first ever Ihi Camp - Where rangatahi ignite.
Ihi Camp is a 4-day summer wānanga inspired by the messages of our recent youth-led production, Where There’s Smoke. The camp will focus on raising awareness about mental distress, breaking stigma, and igniting leadership and hope among rangatahi Māori.
Participants will explore the principles of ihi, wehi, and wana through our youth-led workshops delivered via a range of engaging mediums such as haka, dance, music, theatre, and digital storytelling.
